Description

The Barcol hardness tester is an indentation type hardness tester. It is fast, simple, and easy to test. It can be used to quickly test the hardness of aluminum and aluminum alloy materials and meet the American standard ASTM B648.

Use

The Barcolhardness tester is mainly used to test the hardness of aluminum and aluminum alloys. It can also test the hardness of other soft metals and glass steel products. Can test a variety of oversized, ultra-wide, ultra-thick workpieces and assemblies, testing plates, strips, profiles, forgings, castings and so on.

The W-20 WebsterHardness Tester, widely used in the aluminum processing industry, is suitable for most aluminum alloys. For grades of super-hard aluminum alloys such as 2024 and 7075, W-B75 type Websterhardness tester or Barcol hardness tester can be used. For pure aluminum, low hardness aluminum alloys, particularly thick aluminum alloys, and other aluminum workpieces that are inconvenient to use the Websterhardness tester, a Barcol hardness tester should be used.

The Barcolhardness tester is generally used as a supplement to the Websterhardness tester. It is used when testing pure aluminum.
